On December 22 and 23, the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management named after B. Stuparyk held the defense of qualification papers by students of the second (master’s) level of higher education in the full-time mode of study, majoring in 011 Educational and Pedagogical Sciences.
The final certification of master’s students was conducted in accordance with the requirements of the current regulatory and legal framework in the field of higher education and was chaired by the Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management named after B. Stuparyk, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Liubov Mykolaivna Prokopiv.
The Examination Board included: Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Viktoriia Volodymyrivna Stynska; Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Nataliia Mykolaivna Salyha; and Senior Laboratory Assistant of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management named after B. Stuparyk, Secretary of the Board, Oksana Yosypivna Ziubrytska.
During the defense, the students presented the results of independent scientific research aimed at addressing relevant issues in the theory and practice of modern pedagogy and higher education. The topics of the master’s theses covered the implementation of digital and information and communication technologies in the educational process of higher education institutions, the use of innovative pedagogical approaches in teaching, quality assurance of educational activities, the formation of professional competence of future lecturers, their professional adaptation and self-organization in the contemporary educational environment, as well as teachers’ readiness to address socially significant educational challenges.
The qualification papers were characterized by solid scientific grounding, a logical structure, methodological soundness, and compliance with the stated aims and objectives of the research. Members of the Examination Board noted the appropriate level of formation of general and professional competencies of the master’s students, their thorough theoretical training, ability to analyze and synthesize scholarly sources, to formulate well-argued conclusions and recommendations, and to integrate scientific approaches with the practical needs of educational activity.
Based on the results of the defenses, the Examination Board decided to award the graduates the educational qualification of Master of Educational and Pedagogical Sciences and the professional qualification of Lecturer of a Higher Education Institution, confirming that their level of training meets the requirements of the educational and professional program and that the graduates are ready to carry out professional activities in the field of higher education.
