On March 26, 2025, the Bohdan Stuparyk Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management held its annual scientific reporting conference in a blended format (in-person and online). The event opened with a welcoming address from Oksana Kondur, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, who highlighted the department’s high scientific potential and wished the plenary session participants productive work.
Within the framework of the department’s scientific theme “Historical and Pedagogical Problems of Teaching and Upbringing in the System of Continuous Education”, faculty members and PhD students presented the results of their research. In their reports, scholars analyzed current issues in education and science and addressed the challenges facing Ukrainian society. The conference discussions focused on the prospects and priorities for the development of science, education, and culture, as well as strategies for overcoming contemporary threats.
Liubov Prokopiv, Head of the Bohdan Stuparyk Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, invited participants to engage in active discussions and debates, fostering an exchange of ideas among the scientific community.
Based on the outcomes of the departmental subsection, the theses of young PhD holders and assistants Nataliia Basarab (“Opportunities and Challenges of Digital Transformation in Teacher Self-Education”), Mariana Dereniuk (“Development of Formal and Non-Formal Media Education in Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine and Poland (First Quarter of the 21st Century)”), and PhD students Andrii Paska (“Development of Museum Pedagogy in Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions (Late 20th – First Quarter of the 21st Century)”) and Vasyl Hres’k (“Features of Using the Case Method in the Training of Specialists in Civil Law in Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions (Late 20th – Early 21st Century)”) were recommended for publication in the collection of materials from the 2024 reporting conference of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.
The reporting scientific conference demonstrated that the Bohdan Stuparyk Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management has created conditions that support both professional and academic growth for faculty members and students alike.
