On February 19, 2025, the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management Named After Bohdan Stuparyk Hosted the First Stage of the All-Ukrainian Pedagogy Olympiad and the First Round of the All-Ukrainian Student Research Competition in Pedagogy
The event brought together first-year (bachelor’s level) and second-year (master’s level) students in the field of A1 “Educational Sciences.” Students from four faculties of the university — the Faculty of Pedagogy, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Faculty of History, Political Science and International Relations, and Faculty of Philology — took part in the Olympiad.
The Olympiad consisted of three rounds:

“Teacher on the Educational Front” (Presentation Round): Participants presented their vision of the teacher’s professional activity and the school of the future based on pedagogical innovations. They demonstrated solid knowledge of pedagogical terminology, contemporary theoretical concepts, and best educational practices.

Theoretical Round (Pedagogy Testing): This round assessed students’ understanding of theoretical material, critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and ability to analyze current educational trends.

Practical Round: Focused on addressing issues in various educational areas, including national-patriotic education. Participants presented educational projects and lesson fragments using innovative pedagogical technologies, responding to jury questions with clarity, conciseness, and depth.
Evaluation: The jury assessed each task according to established criteria, emphasizing content relevance, logical structure, originality, clarity of presentation, pedagogical skill, and quality of visual materials.

The Olympiad provided students an opportunity to present their research, demonstrate high-level preparation, mastery of theoretical material, and innovative approaches to practical pedagogical tasks.
First Round of the All-Ukrainian Student Research Competition in Pedagogy:
Master’s level students presented research demonstrating relevance, scientific novelty, logical structure, and practical applicability. Topics addressed current issues in education, pedagogical innovations, and improving educational processes amid societal transformations. The jury highlighted methodological rigor, independence in research, and the ability to effectively present results.
