Young Researchers of the University Received the “Change the World for the Better” Award Named After the Hero of the Heavenly Hundred, Roman Huryk

On February 20, on the Day of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, a traditional commemorative event took place at the Memorial Square in Ivano-Frankivsk to honor the memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. The event was not only a tribute to their sacrifice but also an opportunity to recognize active and talented young researchers whose achievements are making the world a better place.

During the event, the Mayor Ruslan Martsynkiv and the mother of Roman Huryk — Iryna Huryk — presented the “Change the World for the Better” Award named after the Hero of the Heavenly Hundred, Roman Huryk, to the most distinguished young researchers of our university.

The honorary recipients were:

  • Ivan Ivanovych Blahun – Doctor of Economics, Professor, Department of Management and Marketing;

  • Oksana Romanivna Korpalo – Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Department of Slavic Languages;

  • Taras Valeriiovych Paska – Doctor of Philosophy, Assistant Professor, Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management named after Bohdan Stuparyk;

  • Nataliia Olehivna Shcherbii – Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor, Acting Head of the Department of Slavic Languages;

  • Roman Ivanovych Shchur – Doctor of Economics, Professor, Department of Finance.

These researchers have not only achieved significant results in their fields but also actively promote science, contribute to the development of education, and help shape the next generation of highly qualified specialists.
