A Meeting of Stakeholders of the Educational and Professional Program “Vocational Education. Digital Technologies” Was Held

Within the framework of implementing the higher education quality assurance policy and with the aim of improving the educational and professional program “Vocational Education. Digital Technologies,” a stakeholders’ meeting was held at the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management named after Bohdan Stuparyk.

The meeting was opened with a welcoming address by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Professor Ruslan ZAPUKHLIAK, who noted that the digitalization of education is a strategic priority in the development of the educational process. Therefore, it is important to involve all interested stakeholders in discussions of the educational program. He emphasized the need to introduce innovative teaching methods, integrate digital technologies, and ensure effective practical training of students.

The Guarantor of the educational program, Dean of the Pedagogical Faculty, Professor Oksana KONDUR, presented the key conceptual foundations of the program “Vocational Education. Digital Technologies,” focusing on the need for continuous updating of its content in response to the challenges of the modern information society. She also noted that active cooperation with vocational education institutions makes it possible to design educational components that best meet labor market needs.

The Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management named after Bohdan Stuparyk, Professor Liubov PROKOPIV, emphasized the importance of close cooperation between the university and institutions of vocational and professional pre-higher education to ensure high-quality specialist training. She stressed that the modern labor market requires professionals with well-developed digital competencies, and therefore the improvement of the educational program must correspond to current challenges and trends.

The main issues of vocational education and professional training were outlined by Professor of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management named after Bohdan Stuparyk, Viktoriia STYNSKA. Members of the working group from the Department of Computer Engineering and Electronics also took part in the discussion—Associate Professor Volodymyr HRYHA and Senior Lecturer Viktor DOVHYI, who emphasized the importance of integrating modern digital technologies into the educational process to ensure high-quality training of future professionals.

Active participation in the discussion was taken by heads of vocational and professional pre-higher education institutions, in particular:

  • Yurii Mykhailovych MOSKALENKO – Director of the Ivano-Frankivsk Professional College of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University;

  • Mykhailo Mykhailovych BABIak – Director of Higher Vocational School No. 21, Ivano-Frankivsk;

  • Lesia Viktorivna VIROZUB – Deputy Director of Higher Art Vocational School No. 3;

  • Vasyl Mykhailovych BABINETS – Director of the Ivano-Frankivsk College of Technology and Business;

  • Nataliia Vasylivna STEFINYN – Methodologist at the Ivano-Frankivsk College of Technology and Business;

  • Vasyl Vasylovych BEREHOVSKYI – Director of the Professional College of Electronic Devices of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas.

They shared their professional experience and outlined strategic areas of cooperation aimed at improving the quality of training of future specialists.

The discussion also involved lecturers of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management named after Bohdan Stuparyk—Assistant Professors Taras PASKA, Nataliia BASARAB, and Mariana DERENIUK.

As a result of the stakeholders’ meeting, key directions for improving the educational program were identified, opportunities for expanding cooperation between educational institutions and employers were determined, and further steps were agreed upon to enhance the quality of training of future specialists in line with current labor market requirements.
