Specialized Seminar for the Approbation of Oleksandr Bozhko’s Dissertation

On October 21, 2025, at 4:00 p.m., a specialized seminar for the approbation of the dissertation by Oleksandr Anatoliiovych Bozhko was held at the Bohdan Stuparyk Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University. The dissertation, titled “The Formation and Development of Sports and Health-Oriented Activities in Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine (1990s – First Quarter of the 21st Century),” was prepared by a fourth-year full-time (contract-based) PhD student majoring in 011 Educational and Pedagogical Sciences, for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the same specialty.

The specialized seminar, aimed at conducting a preliminary examination and providing an expert conclusion on the scientific novelty as well as the theoretical and practical significance of the dissertation results, was held with the following members:

Following the presentations by the doctoral candidate, the academic supervisors, and the experts, the seminar concluded that the dissertation meets all official requirements. Based on the discussion results, the dissertation was recommended for defense before a one-time Specialized Academic Council at Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University.
