On November 13–14, an International Scientific and Practical Conference entitled “Development of Continuing Pedagogical Education under Martial Law in Ukraine and Global Challenges” was held at Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University. The event was dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Bohdan Stuparyk Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management.
The conference brought together scholars, academic and teaching staff, education practitioners, doctoral and postgraduate students, as well as master’s students from various educational institutions in Ukraine and abroad. The event was held in a blended format—onsite, offline, and online—which made it possible to engage a wide range of participants and ensure open scholarly dialogue. The working languages of the conference were Ukrainian, Polish, English, and the languages of the European Union.
The conference participants were welcomed by the First Vice-Rector and Rector-Elect of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University, Valentyna Yakubiv. In her address, she highlighted the significant contribution of the Department to the development of pedagogical science, the training of highly qualified professionals, and the preservation of the best traditions of Ukrainian education. She also emphasized the importance of continuing education as a key factor in societal resilience under wartime challenges.

In a blended format, participants presented their reports highlighting the results of their own scientific research and practical achievements related to the development of continuing pedagogical education under martial law and global instability.
The conference work was organized around the following thematic areas:

The Bohdan Stuparyk Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University as a center for the development of pedagogical science and education in Ukraine.
During the scholarly discussion, participants addressed current trends, challenges, and prospects for the development of continuing pedagogical education, and outlined ways to enhance its effectiveness under martial law and global transformations.
