The Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management named after Bohdan Stuparyk is pleased to announce that Yuliia Vorobchak, a third-year student (group PCT-32) of the specialty “Vocational Education. Digital Technologies”, has been awarded the prestigious scholarship of the Foundation of the Institute of Oriental Studies (Republic of Poland). This honorary distinction aims to support talented Ukrainian youth who demonstrate a high level of academic achievement and active civic engagement.
On December 11, 2025, a ceremonial scholarship award took place in the exhibition hall of Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University. In total, 17 students—15 undergraduates and 2 master’s students—received financial support of 1,000 USD (in the hryvnia equivalent). Being included in this list is a mark of trust, recognition of achievements, and an incentive for further professional development.
During the event, students had the opportunity to meet with the founder of the Foundation, Zygmunt Berdykhovsky, who emphasized the importance of supporting young Ukrainians during times of transformation and challenges faced by the country. He wished the recipients courage in implementing their own ideas, proactivity, and confidence in their abilities.
The Rector of the University, Valentyna Yakubiv, also delivered a welcoming address, highlighting the significance of partnership with the Foundation of the Institute of Oriental Studies and the opportunities this initiative opens for students. She stressed that the Foundation’s support is not only material assistance but also an investment in the future of young specialists, a stimulus for growth, and a chance to explore new educational and professional horizons.
For our department, Yuliia Vorobchak’s success is particularly significant. She is a student who demonstrates responsibility, perseverance, initiative, and readiness for continuous development. Her achievement serves as an example for other students and proves that hard work, motivation, and belief in oneself inevitably bring results.
The Department proudly celebrates Yuliia’s accomplishments, confident that this scholarship will become a new point of growth for her. We wish her to continue moving forward boldly, exploring new opportunities, implementing projects, and contributing positively to education and society.
The teaching staff of the department always supports their students and gladly contributes to their successes, as it is the students who shape the reputation of the department, faculty, and university.
