Particular attention was given to the specialties offered by the Faculty of Pedagogy, their educational content, and the employment prospects for graduates.
To stimulate students’ cognitive interest, an online quiz entitled “A Journey Through the World of Professions of the Faculty of Pedagogy” was conducted. It enabled participants, in an interactive format, to learn more about pedagogical professions, current requirements for specialists, and the role of educators in the context of education digitalization. The event also highlighted the activities of the departments, in particular the educational opportunities they offer to students.
During the career guidance meeting, special attention was paid to the specialty A5.39 “Vocational Education. Digital Technologies” as one of the most relevant in the context of the digital transformation of education. Students were introduced to opportunities for mastering modern digital educational technologies, using online platforms, digital services, interactive learning tools, as well as elements of distance and blended learning. Emphasis was placed on training specialists capable of designing and implementing the educational process using digital resources, creating electronic learning materials, applying digital tools for assessing learning outcomes, and organizing communication with learners. It was also emphasized that graduates of this specialty combine pedagogical competence with a high level of digital literacy, which ensures their competitiveness in the modern labor market.
The career guidance meeting became a platform for open dialogue, professional self-determination, and the formation of lyceum students’ understanding of opportunities for self-realization in the educational sphere within a digital society.
