On September 9, 2025, the first meeting of the Commission on the Appointment of the Mayor’s Scholarships for scientific and academic staff of higher education institutions in Ivano-Frankivsk took place.
The session included the participation of Taras Valeriyovych Paska, PhD in Philosophy, Assistant at the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management named after Bohdan Stuparyk at Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University. He joined the Commission in accordance with the decision of the Executive Committee of the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council, representing the university and the academic community of the institution.
The Commission was established to ensure an open, transparent, and professional review of applications for the mayor’s scholarships. During the first meeting, materials from seven higher education institutions were examined, and decisions were made regarding the number of scholarships allocated to each university.
The results of the Commission’s work were as follows:

Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University – 8 scholarships;

Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University – 7 scholarships;

Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas – 4 scholarships;

King Danylo University – 3 scholarships;

Ivano-Frankivsk Educational-Scientific Institute of Management, ZUNU – 1 scholarship;

Private Higher Education Institution “Ivano-Frankivsk Ivan Zolotousty Academy” – 1 scholarship;

Open International University of Human Development “Ukraine” (Ivano-Frankivsk branch) – 1 scholarship.
The participation of Assistant Professor Taras Paska in the Commission demonstrates the active involvement of the faculty members of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management named after Bohdan Stuparyk in city and regional initiatives aimed at supporting science, developing the academic community, and recognizing the achievements of researchers.
